Groups & Clubs in Wigginton
York City FC Foundation
Host a Sporting memories coffee morning three times a week in and
around the York Area. This is open to all but primarily designed to
Support older people in the UK that are at risk of becoming
isolated, Sporting Memories encourages those that attend to recall
positive memories that are rekindled through the means of sport.
This social activity is dementia friendly and strives to help members of the local community come together and share their stories. Not only do we chat but we also dabble in a spot of boccia or darts and the occasional quiz. Each week is very different!
The weekly event costs nothing to attend and there is always a selection of biscuits to go down well with a free hot drink.
Your next session:
Monday: 1-2.30pm, Wigginton Old School
Thursday: 10.30-12pm, Springhill Court, Easingwold
Friday:10.30-12pm, Bootham Crescent
